Nancy's Hideaway

This charming, new one-bedroom cottage is tucked away in Volcano Village next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Located in the rainforest, it's your home away from home offering privacy and convenience to area activities. It is a comfortable 576 sq. ft. plus an attached carport. Features include a bedroom with king-size bed, full bath, well-equipped full kitchen, dinning table and chairs, living area, propane fireplace, Wireless Internet, TV, DVD/VCR, CD player/radio, phone, washer/dryer and large lanai (patio.) Complete linens provided including towels, comforters, and electric blankets. Nicely appointed and furnished in island décor, it's the perfect home base for your Volcano and Hilo adventure. The Aloha and Hula Cottages are about 40 feet apart and oriented for privacy on a half acre.

Everything is here for you to enjoy your stay in this unique area of the Big Island. The Hawaii Volcanoes Nationals Park offers the visitor a special view of nature unlike any place on earth. Be sure to plan enough time to enjoy the hiking, craters, lava tubes, lush rainforests, steam vents, rare birds, ancient petroglyphs, spectacular views, and brand new land. The visitor center offers excellent exhibits, films, geological talks and information about the recent lava flows. Also top local artisans display their works at the popular Volcano Art Center Gallery located in the park.

Hilo is just a 30 minute drive away. Its small town charm gives you a taste of old Hawaii. Visit the farmers' market brimming with exotic fruits and flowers, Rainbow Falls, Lyman House and Museum, and beautiful Lili'uokalani Park with 30 acres of Japanese gardens, fishponds, gazebos and bridges. Other Hilo area attractions include a tropical zoo, botanical gardens, scenic drives, and spectacular waterfalls.

Deposit/Cancellation Policy:
One night's deposit required for stays of 6 nights or less. 25% deposit required for stays of 7 nights or more. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival date. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, and Check. Notice of cancellation 30+ days prior to arrival date will receive a refund less a $25.00 processing fee. 15 to 29 days prior to arrival date you will receive a 50% refund. 7-14 days prior to arrival date you will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations received less than one week to arrival date will forfeit payment.
